In my never ending quest for Rawdon parts, I aquired this throttle quadrant. Anybody have any idea what it came out of? Seems to me like one of the early P-47s had a quadrant similar to this. The brand is Corry-Penna

The throttle quadrant that you have pictured is from a early P-47. The second design had a twist-grip for the throttle lever.

You have GOT to put that in the Rawdon! Now you just need to find a control stick out of an early P47! Or slide the Rawdon to the side and start your early P47 project.

As much as I hate to do it, I'm gonna sell the Rawdons. I just don't have time to work on them and I don't see me having any for a long time. It's been nearly a year since I got anything significant accomplished. I'll be gone for six weeks starting the 20th and I'll be gone out of the country for most of June-Oct. Not counting my normal trips overseas, I'll will be gone for at least six months out of this year.

Someday I'll see it taxi by at Oshkosh and I'll hate myself.

In the meantime, I've got my P-47 throttle!

I hate to see you sell them Brad. Put 'em in storage for a few years. They
have waited this long for you, as long as they aren't deteriorating they'll
wait a little longer.
