I've been wanting to check out this show for awhile. Thanks for the pics. So is the Hawk 75A now based there? Hows the Corsair coming along?

No, the Hawk 75 was just visiting for the airshow. The Fighter Collection sends aircraft of theirs to the La Ferte Alais airshows every year. This year, TFC sent their Hawk 75 and Gloster Gladiator (just as they also sent their P-40C, P-40F, and Spitifre V to the Oostwold, Norway airshow over this past weekend as well).

As for the La Ferte Corsair, it sounds like it may be flying this year. Here are a couple pics from this past weekend:

Think you will find that Oostwold is in the Netherlands. Would have been nice to have that group visit Norway this weekend for the airshow at Sola.

Your first shot is especially good! Thanks for showing us.
I hope to make it over before too long.

Superb quality photos.

Your fifth shot had me confused for a while. Initially thought it was some sort of pre-WWI 'Mistel' or Maia/Mercury type of combination.

Then I realised it was just the camera angle and some pretty nifty formation flying.

Excellent.

Hi all,

Thanks for the kind words.

@ Tom P. this is in fact a Rafale flying with the Seafury and the Hunter, but it is very similar to a Typhoon.

We also had a few military vehicles passing by, I hope there will be more next year....
