Harlingen, TX - 1977

Recently digitized my Dad's Super8 home movies and wanted to share this one from a visit to the CAF when they were in Harlingen in 1977. You'll see some familiar airframes in there. Curious as to what happened to the static displays that were there....and the B-25. https://flic.kr/p/248zZny

The B-25 is on static display at the Lackland AFB parade ground. The C-54 was scrapped except for the nose (on Display with theHigh Sky Wing in Midland). The rest of the static airplanes were all relocated to various museums around the US.

I believe the C-124 went to Warner Robbins.

Not sure about the B-47.
