I'm currently researching the colours used by certain P-40N units in the Pacific. These aircraft were in a much lighter scheme than the usual OD / Neutral Grey colours.
Various books refere to the colours as 'Desert Pink', 'Sand', or 'Sand over Pale Blue undersurfaces'. I've also been told that some were in Silver.
Can anyone provise any assistance with pinning down the colours used?

Beautiful model.
"Geronimo" was with 45th FS, 15th FG.
I've seen a pic of a natural metal P-40N of 7th FS, 49th FG just before conversion to the P-38 in Squadron Signal's 'Curtiss P-40 in Action".
Hope this helps in some way.
Cheers
Andy
