 Post subject: Practice bombs

I picked up this 100 pound practice bomb at a estate sale, I looked just a little online about them but would like to hear more from Wixers on them. I would like to refinish it back to original, after I get my tetanus shot and get a B-25 to go with it! I seen a few pictures online that are in a light blue finish. What would be the correct color and lettering for WWII time frame?

That ugly light blue is proper for inert USN practice bombs. Sorry I don't remember the FS number.
