Just caught this on Facebook from my mate Ashley..
"Vale Bob Eastgate.
Bob passed away peacefully this morning after a battle with MND for several years.
It’s rather hard to sum up a person in a few words of someone who has been such a major influence and guidance in your life over many years not just me but many many other people in this industry. A Pioneer and visionary first restoring a CAC Mustang back to flight in the mid 70’s as what we now term colloquially as a Warbird. And many other aircraft too numerous to mention.
Blue Skies my dear friend."
