WWII Clarktor Tug & Jeep turned into Depot Crane

Came across this photo and am trying to learn more or find more photographs. It appears to be a Clarktor tug/tractor front bumper for a counterweight on a Jeep with the rear end chopped. The only firm information I have on the photo is the caption, though other photos in the set were ostensibly from Halstead a large depot (but not airbase) in England during WW2.
