Warbird Information Exchange

I see on Platinum's website (see the link in the P-47 thread below) that they recently sold a Thunderjet project, N6599N.
Anyone know more?

I have never heard of a flying civil straight wing F-84 (of course there was a F-84F flying many years ago).

Any idea how viable it would be in terms of engines, etc.?
