According to this old thread, the Spitfire is ex-Indian AF Mk XVIII TP276, owned at the time by Rudy Frasca

Still owned by the Frasca family I believe, in a container in Chino, unless it has been sold.

Still owned by the Frasca family I believe, in a container in Chino, unless it has been sold.

The P-63 is gorgeous! I didn't realise it survived with clipped wings for so long.

Mike Smith brought it to Reno 1979 still with the clip. By 1981 it was living in Oakland with normal wing tips.

Neal this pix brings back memories as I kept my SNJ just off the right side of that P-63 at that time in OAK, it crashed in France some years later.

I just learned Mike Smith passed away on Dec 24th, 2023. He was a very interesting guy to visit with, and will be missed. :(
