That would be ours. National Capitol Squadron, Commemorative Air Force. I'm 3rd from the left, black hat & ponytail. The RedHead, my better half, is on the ladder next to me.

The BT is N56360, s/n5946. 41-22026. Only BT flying, in Standard Category, with T-6 powerplant. The pic was taken in Jan 2005, removing the engine to send to Covington for overhaul. Engine had 1100 or so hours since o/h in 1962(!), somewhere around 2000 hours since new. Engine is now back on, and we've put about 100 hours on her. She's at ADW (Andrews AFB) this weekend, anyone nearby come out and say hi!

Wrecker use & operator (me!) donated by those fine folks at Valley Towing & Recovery of Mt Jackson VA.

More pics of engine R&R available at http://nationalcapitolsquadron.com/gall ... .php?cat=3

Hi Jase, for the past couple of days I've tried to access the National Capitol Sq. website
attempting to view the well doc'd BT-13 resto photos. I'm getting a Website Not Responding page.

Just a heads-up for your 'puter folks. Anyone else have the same problem?

Yea, I'm aware of the issue. The @#@&( hosting company chose to go Tango Uniform with ZERO notice to their clients, so the RedHead gets to rebuild the WHOLE site. Luckily, she has it mostly backed up. Durned hosting companies anyway.

Bad news is the RedHead is out of town visiting family so it will take a while to be back up. My apologies for the inconvenience.

No worries Jase...the A-model didn't have the details I was most interested in,
but she'd a been handy for orientation....and the IFF's Bela mentioned, maybe?
Like I said..No Worries, but....R-e-a-l-l-l-y baaad timing......

What details are you perzackly interested in? I can probly email you pics. Not too many differences between A & B, fuselage and controls pretty similar.

Just put new tires on ours yesterday. Man I love that airplane!!

Persadentially the point was made moot with Bela's ID of the IFF lights being "not T-6"
on the "Looks more like a T-6" thread. I was looking for photos/accurate drawings
of a -13B/SNV-2 left empannage area in order to compare to the diver's photos.
Perzackly the round panels just forward of the horizontal stab, which I'd
concluded were on the later BT-13's..but not the earlier. Do I have this right??
