...what markings would you put on it? I personally would paint it in 345th Markings.

I'm with you! I really like the "Falcon" nose art and the groups history, but the problem is that I wouldn't want a B-25 without a glass nose. Hence I wouldn't paint it in those markings.
That said, I'd propbaly choose one of the 82nd BG paint scheme's with the "bulldog" nose art, or perhaps the 12th BG B-25 with "Finito Benito-Next Hirohito" painted on the top wing.

How about a PBJ-1, in a dark blue, or two tone Light blue/Blue. I don't know too much about what markings went on what A/C, so I can't be more specific.

Looking at from a point of trying to make enough money to keep flying to shows I would paint it as Doolittle's a/c.

I just got through browsing the B-25 section on the registry. I think one of the best 25 paint scheme has to be "Betty's Dream"! My other fav would have to be "Devil Dog". Im partial to the gun noses...I keep hoping someday that the museum would do something for "Special Delivery" She needs a new paint job, BAD! But its cool to hear the ideas for a new paint job getting kicked around the shop.

That's the first place to look. Does the selected aircraft have overseas service? What squadron? Any historical photographs of the selected aircraft ? If not, then the sky's the limit !

Of course I'm kinda hung up on the whole historically accurate thing ( where practical).

"Sunday Punch" is one of the 82nd BG paint scheme's out there, but I'd choose one of the ones with the glass nose.

That looks like the doolittle/B-25 reunion at Fresno a couple years ago.
Our B-25 was next to Sunday Punch and flew with Lynn & Steve throughout the weekend. That was way to much fun!!!!

There was a B-25 group somewhere in the MTO (don't know which one) that had cobalt-blue tailfins and rudders and an overall NMF finish that I find quite striking. I also like the RAF scheme of the Canadian Warplane Heritage's 8-gun nose Mitchell; I think it looks great in D-Day markings.

As for nose art, I'd have something that incorporated an air-brushed image of the incredibly gorgeous Dita von Teese and call it "Dear Dita..."; she has the stunning looks of a classic 1940's pin-up girl.

I love the B-25 so this is a awsome question. So my answer maybe bouring to most of you, but to a select few, I would make happy.

Fresh from the factory bare metal!!! Just the data stencils, stars and S/N........!!!

I love the look of factory fresh airplanes...........glacier girl, the Corsair that was at Sun-N-Fun (got its pic as a screensaver). There also was a P-40 out there that was like that and imagine this NO SHARK MOUTH.......She is HOT!!!
