Looks like it to me. In no small part because of the fairing just behind the cowl.
More interesting, are those biplanes on the dock next to the stern?
J2Fs? I can't think of any other biplanes that would be there.

Could be on dock but much of the deck cargo is J2F.

SOC’s on the deck already unloaded. F4F tail inside. Can’t tell what those are covered up on deck.
Quite a history the USS Kitty Hawk had.
