Baugher has the aircraft "(370th FS, 359th FG, 8th AF) crashlanded at RAF East Wretham, Norfolk, England May 30, 1944". It was obviously repaired and placed in service with the 353rd FGp. Lieutenant Elbert W Tilton of the 370th FS flew P-51B 42-106902 ('CS-C') and named it "Mega Ann".
