Thanks ever so much for the reply, at least I know that it’s generally pretty steady on the forum and not my computer

It's a real shame because since the demise of the Flypast forum and others, this is pretty much the only game in town.

Hopefully things will pick up, maybe just a temporary glitch

For me (a lurker) in Europe (Sweden) the WIX has a RAG (Random Access Generator). If I wait long enough, I get a message that it has "timed out". Once a week (maybe), I actually get logged in.

Am I the only one experiencing the RAG?

Christer and happy meal, I experience the same thing but as you said today logging in was no problems. You guys aren't the only ones.

I've been having the same issue for over a year. I can log in maybe 20 percent of the time I try to visit.

It's not just you, several guys on the UK-based Key Publishing Forum (FlyPast magazine) have been complaining as well.
Not surprisingly, the inability for people to log in over the last few weeks has been a problem.

However, so is people not coming because of a reduction in meaningful posts.

I'm trying to do my part, I have made two posts recently (one in the # of warbirds flying thread, one new thread)...when I can get on.
The WIX members need to step up and contribute with news to keep this place alive.

No reflection on Scott, but some of the General Discussion Forums are dead and haven't had a post for many in years...dates here are the last post in the forum...Warbird News (4/23), Military Matters (6/24), Airshows (12/24), Reenact or s (11/22), Simulation (6/23), RC Flying (10/18).

So, if you want this to stay alive and not become a subsidiary of Facebook, post some original content.

I hope WIX isn't dying because I enjoy it much more than Facebook and other aviation forums. :(
