P-51 Miss Helen

The gang on the FlyPast board are reporting that Robs Lampough (Sp?) made an off airport landing yesterday after the Engine quit in the Mustang. It appears that Robs was not injured, thank goodness...
I have not found any news reports of the incedent yet..

This seems to be typical of the British press. Had the incident happend near Duxford, it would have been in every news report within minutes.

Seems the aircraft made a controlled wheels up landing under minimum power, and damage was relatively light....pilot OK... P-51 sore stomach ;-0
