Warbird Information Exchange

Does anyone know about an SBD Dauntless at Mojave, CA airport? Was there last week but did not see it. The Zero N553TT is tied down outside. Wind was blowing like crazy. Surprised it was not hangared.

Well... SBD-4 BuNo. 10715 was at one point here in Akron and moved out west. I was always told it was purchased by David Price. Since Price had a facility at Mojave it could be that 10715 is in storage there. It is only a project plane however, unless a ton of work has been done since it was here.
