Next week, ICAS leadership will meet with FAA officials to seek further clarification to Chapter 49. The meeting will continue the hard work and progress that has taken place over the past two weeks in search of clearer language and more reasonable and consistent application of Chapter 49 regulations. Although not a final solution, ICAS in its dealings with the FAA has made significant progress in a short period of time and continues to work diligently to ensure that the safety of our members and air show spectators is the top priority.
