Hello all, there have been times during the day that the forum has been unavailable. If you are unable to access the forum please e-mail me the time you made the failed attempt. I'm trying to document the outages so I can goto tech support with something concrete. Thanks.

I had slow responses resulting in time outs in my browser last night around 9:50 PM EST. It may have been my service provider (I have dial-up at home), but I have seen this behaviour before.

I'll let you know if I see it again.

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

Scott,

I also could not get into the forum about the same time as Mike. Last night around 10pm.

Just experienced a brief period of delay starting at 3:52 PM EST, and I finally got in after a number of retries, at 3:55 PM EST. This time from work with good bandwidth.

Mike

P.S. Apparently the problem is continuing. I am having to come back to the composition page to try and resubmit.

There is apparently an on going problem. Please e-mail me with the times and dates when your not able to get on. I'm trying to decipher a pattern. If this isn't resolved by the time I get back from the work trip on Sept. 1 I will switch server providers, this is getting sorta stupid.

:ouch:

There was another slow period today. I was busy at the time and went back to what I was working on and forgot to note the time.

There was a short period of downtime, 10 minutes or so at 11:40 Eastern tonight.

The forum was once again down today. I have had it with this hosting company and will see about switching to a new host this weekend. There shouldn't be any noticable changes to the forum since I'm using pretty standard software now.

Starting at 7:35 am edt and still continuing now I have been having great difficulty getting into any page. It takes three or more tries each time I want to view something. I keep getting the "page cannot be displayed" message.

EDIT: Forum appears to be working normally as of 8:08 am edt.

I got on around 7:45 EST and I did not experience any problems.

Problems began around 12:25 EST.

Just tried twice to get to www.warbirdinformationexchange.org, and the attempts failed both times. I got in on the third attempt.

Failed to "submit" this message 2 times before success on the next.
