Alexandria, Mn T-33 on a pole

Shot these last weekend while in Alexandria.
52-9171 is a valid T-33 serial, but I have no idea if it is the correct serial for this T-33. The sign on the pedistal states it was dedicated in 1993.
Anyone know more about this bird?
Scott use them if you want them...
