read in today's paper that besby holmes who helped organize the p-38 yamamoto shoot down mission died yesterday. he claimed the 2nd betty bomber, but even he said the shoot down of the admiral's betty was up to speculation between pilots lamphier & barber. the controversy continues to this day.
