I had a very enjoyable time flying with the T-6 guys at DBQ the weekend before OSH. There's a reason these guys look so good in their large diamond formation during the big show, namely that they practice their back sides off. Four sorties a day was common, and five was not uncommon. You can learn more about NATA at www.northamericantrainer.org

The below photos were sent to me by John "Skipper" Hyle, and were taken by one of the bravos.

Again, thanks to everyone I had the pleasure of flying with. It was a great time.

Any mention of where they might hold it come next July? Just didn't seem right not being at Kenosha for some reason!

I'm not sure about next year, but I would not rule out a return to Dubuque. The people were very nice, and it's a beautiful city. As for a return to Kenosha that's a question for Stoney and Cathy.
