Looks great from one side! There is/was a project T-34 in Chino as well. Might yield a good airframe.

That is going to be a chore. My company replaced several forward spar carry through's on Charlies, and have developed the necessary fixtures and proceedures to do so. Raytheon did not want to do them because they said that they didn't have the expertise to do so. Good luck.

Hi!
My first post.
My brother's aircraft in the post above.
Anyway, my brother has one flying T-34 Mentor already, and just sold his T-28.
He takes it to shows, like the Sun N Fun, and flys formation, as well as funerals for military men, in the Missing Man formation.
I will have to dig up some photos of his aircraft.
Anyway, he has already picked up 2 other T-34 projects, and with prices for parts costing so much, he just got this one (the pictures above in the link) for parts.
This one will not be rebuilt.
We also on the trip out to pick this up, dropped off a set of wings to get the AD fixed. The main spar in the wings. Seems that the Military air clubs and the air combat companies like pulling more "G"s than the aircraft can take.
Anyway, his son wants to be a AP, and so my brother thought it wouild be a great bonding experince with his son.
As for me, I fly real low, in my cars, and due to a very bad sinus problem, can't seem to go up anymore, doing stunts and such.
But I am very heavy into all things military, and go to the big military airshows alot, taking many photos.
I'm sure I will be posting more here, along with photos.
BTW, "Hi" Dan! And nice to meet you Mustang!

Info on this and the other two parts T-34's would be helpful for the registry as well as an ID on the flyable one. Is it in the Mentor Registry?

Oops. Hadn't noticed that one. Tom Wood's Bearcat is in the foreground of a shot taken at Oshkosh. The site seems to be down right now, I'll take a look at the World Jet photo when it is back up.

The Bearcat in that photo is the one that is now with Ray Deickman. At the time of said pic it was owned by the Whittingtons who sold it to an owner in France before it came back to the US for Mr. Deickman. Pics of her while with the Whittingtons can be found here:

Not sure, since I am not the owner.
I do know he is with the T-34 Assocation, so I would think they were.
I am new here, and know nothing about a registry.
Can anyone view this?
