after a tip-off I found this DC7 being used as a classroom

we have pieced together quite a lot over the last couple of weeks already.

After many phone calls and research I have found out much more info on the history of this aircraft (and also correspondence from Doug on this board)

Capt Frank Lang used to be in charge or this aircraft when it flew with Dooleys (yes, THAT Frank Lang)

In the update you can find:
photos from when it was flying with Dooleys
photos from the disassembly and move through the Denver city streets
original documents from the aircraft when it was in service

Very informative, except that the plane is referred to as being used in the closing scene of "American Graffiti" - no, that was N5903, ex-Braniff and then with Magic Carpet Air Travel (changed to Magic Carpet Airlines for the film). In fact, N6321C was dismantled a year before the film was shot!

Still, my kindergarten days would have been a lot more fun in a DC-7...
