Here are a few pictures my brother, Timothy (who is also on this forum as "Corsarifreak"), and I took at the Dayton Air Show in 2005. We are there for the Friday night "activities" but the public was not allowed near the planes. However, we decided to "sneak" past the guards. So I'm not sure between my brother and myself who took which pictures, because we were running around hiding behind planes and taking pictures before we got caught (we didn't though :D ) I know some of the pictures are not of the greatest quality, but they are something different. 8)

Did the same thing at an airshow in Phoenix in '96, lots of moonlight photos of warbirds at the show at the Goodyear(?) airport in west Phoenix...maybe have to dig some of the slides out and pop 'em up here...

Great pics! The rear 3/4 shot of the Gooney bird is great. One can almost imagine yourself as a very nervous Screaming Eagle walking up to it in the wee hours of June 6th...

Got kicked off the ramp at Oshkosh for taking night photos... I guess anyone in a golf cart is an authoritarian there. Haven't been back since.

Nice shots!

Last light and beyond are great times to shoot. I'd pass on shooting
during the airshow to be able to be on the ramp or field at sunset and night. I should dig through some of my evening shots and post them. I so love Geneseo!

I wish I had done a lot more of those in the Navy, I have a few good one but I had thousands of opportunities but duty and general numbness of my surroundings prevented me form taking them. Now a lack of a scanner prevents me from posting them.

Tim

I love the panoramic of the Thunderchickens!

Great shots! Reminds me of night duty at Offutt AFB with all the lights and stuff!

I worked Mid shift for 4 years, loved it, but man, was it a hard adjustment back to the light!

Awesome shots, but can anyone explain to me why the the number "5" on on the intake cover of the #5 T-Bird is upside down? From what I can tell at least #'s 2, 7, and 8 are right side up.

If I am not mistaken, the #5 slot is the solo? Who does most of the routine upside down.
