Ritchie , Cunningham, and Driscoll's footage was cut from previously aired programs. The computer graphics were the only thing that seemed to be new. There is another episode tonite dealing with Mig Alley. Maybe the individual episodes will be new stuff.

B-29, thanks for the tip on the show, it was also just on again this morning 7 am Colo. time. It, a shame about Cunningham, I suspect he had an alchohol or drug problem that clouded his judgement. As a politician he was a little to the right of Russ Limbaugh, once challenged another state legislator to a fight at the capitol. I guess the fighter pilot aggression doesn't always translate to peacetime well. I hope he gets his life straightened and gets out in a few years to a decent future. I heard him talk at Osh, and met Willie Driscoll at the show at Eden Prarie, Minn. I used to attend many shows with Warner Giles in my Spitfire, he was a ski buddy who had been an F4 RIO,amoung other other jobs. He was a great travel companion, he never got lost, at least in the air( he might get confused in the parking lot in a car!) and if he ever got scared I never saw it. He had an audio recording of a combat mission in a gunship in Nam. A solid guy.

I really liked how the detailed the individual dogfights that Bud Anderson was involved with in the P-51.

I hear you Robbie, their courage and exploits should never be forgotten...I'm also the proud son of a WWII combat veteran B-29 crewman.

I've seen that show about 4 times and never get tired of watching. I have kinda' mixed emotions when the Randy Cunningham part comes on. What a terrific pilot but a total failure as a public servant. Served his country but couldn't serve his country. (Is that too obtuse?)

Mudge the enthralled
