Aircraft types that need to be replicated

I was thinking of Extinct or nearly extinct aircraft that it would be nice to see replicated. So atleast to see them in the sky again.

My vote would be for a Dornier Do 17 due to the fact that it was a main type in the Luftwaffe and to my knowledge none exist (as of yet).

Anyone got any other types they would like see replicated?

I know that there are several JU 88 airframes but I sincerly doubt any will be put back in the air.

That in of it's self might make it a good candidate for being replicated.

I'd love to see a JU 88 screamming over a airfield at an airshow.

Maybe the Stormbird folks might take on the challenge someday.

Wow, that is hard to peg down.
Ju-87, Do-17, Me-110, JU-88, TBD, P-40B/C, Typhoon. Any of those would make me pretty happy.

I still can't wait to see some Fw-190s, Me-262 or the Ki-43s.

I'd love to see the Typhoon as well. However, something a bit more practical which I've thought would make a good replica would be a Fiat G.50. With a reliable American made radial up front it should be a reasonable airplane to build and maintain and would probably have a very good power to weight ratio/light wing loading. Plus, the airframe looks quite simple. Just my .02 cents.

P-43 Lancer, Devastator, Brewster Buffalo and Hawker Typhoon. I think the coolest replica would be a Do 335 series. Imagine a P-51 chasing one mof them around at an airshow...

The Do 335, CA-15, Typhoon, and Ju-88 ideas are great.

For a relatively easier, if not popular type, I'd love to see a P-66.

An F-82B would be wonderful. If marketing the investment of such a task is important this one has speed (and racing potential), room for four with great seats, a favorite of the original pilots, and some already established replication technology that is currently in active use (I know the P-51s are much different, but some basic carry-over would be a strong plus). Of course an F-82E replica using earlier dash Allisons (I don't like the lines as much) would offer more available engines.
