I remember reading several years ago about the "Mitchell Flight", a group of guys who flew B-25 N9455Z for a while in the U. K. The plane was then abandoned in France, and stayed there until Dave Tallichet came and picked it up again around 1986-87. I seem to remember a Rodney Small who owned a Dove/Devon in the late 80's had been a part of this venture. There was an article in Flypast (about the Dove/Devon) where he mentioned having been part of the B-25 group. Anyone remember this bunch, and/or did they display the 25 much at all? This was before I made it to any airshows in England so I am kinda curious! There was made a video from an airshow in Sion, Svitzerland in 1982, where the 25 was featured. Anybody knows if this film is still available somewhere?

It was a Jeff Hawke operation - when I recall well - following the making of "Hanover Street". Mitchell 'Big Bad Bonny' went back to Chino CA, did see her there somewhere in the early 90s. The plane was in Avignon [F] in the eighties after engine trouble.
Some pictures of the Sion [CH] display are on the net, when someone has the video..... please let me know
