Jack,

You're my hero.

Can I make a request? Color shots of B-29s in the south Pacific? One of my favorite bombers in a stunning setting, and the coral runways serve to make it that much more photogenic.

Thanks for sharing - again.

I'm in absolute awe of your collection! The photo's you posted in this thread are no exception...however one is exceptional, the photo of Doolittle. Without question one of America's greatest hero's.

Thanks John, I'm glad you've enjoyed. The weather here sucks!12" of rain in the past 2 weeks with 24" over towards the coast.
Needless to say I'm spend my breaks and lunches here at my desk.

Jack,
I really appreciate you taking the time to post these- all of them, not just this thread. Very good to see some different views of the war. The paramedic in me particularly likes the WC-54/C47 medevac photo. Of all the people medevac'ed during WWII, only 49 died. Pretty impressive number.
