Lockheed Constellation news

Check Ralph Peterson's site www.conniesurvivors.com/1-connie_news.htm for an update on the Constellation on display in Colorado Springs,Co. There are 2 photos of the interior of the plane that are worth taking a look at. Also an interesting report by Mr Peterson of his visit to the KC-97 restaurant also there in Colorado.

That's good stuff. I've never been there but I really enjoyed that website.

Of particular interest I like the report on R7V-1 BuNo 131644 (Pegasus). I never knew that wreck existed. Wondering if we'll ever see it recovered? :roll:

Seems pretty doubtful. There are several Connies in the US that are rotting away waiting for someone to some them some care.
