Before everybody gets to excited the Bear won't be moving to Texas any time soon. It is going to stay in Reno with more support from the new owner. Hope to see it back in the winners circle next year.

Also Critical Mass is being returned to stock and the engine from the racing version is apparently being sold to the new owner of Rare Bear. Wish them both the best of luck!

Good news indeed :D ! I hope he is race ready next year, I was really bummed this year at the races no Bear :cry: , no Dago :cry: , no Voodoo :cry:. But at least a ROUNDMOTOR did win the gold!

Yes, the F8F-2 had 4 20mm cannon and so did the F8F-1B. I believe the F8F-1A had 6, .50 caliber Browning machine guns.
