since there are so many B-17's and the B-17 Registry is currenly undergoing overhaul, I figure that this a/c desrves its own section.

Hello! I am trying to find information on the B-17E's that were built with the Bendix remote belly turret. My understanding that the first 112 or so were so equipped. Would that mean any B-17E in the serial number range of 41-2393 to 41-2505 would have been constructed with the Bendix?
