From the quite excellent book by Tom Clancy came a quite excellent movie. There were deviations from the book but that's because a film company can only do so much with real navy ships and real submarines. An excellent cast, an excellent script, and excellent effects. The story never lags. Also, a great way to spend an afternoon with bad weathr outside. Fire up the popcorn and enjoy the flick. Five stars out of five.
