Just watched this and I have to say I'm surprised it didn't receive more Oscar awards.
It's visually stunning, which makes the depiction of its subject matter even more monstrous. I think it maybe helps if you know what references to "Canada" (Kanada) and damaged coat linings refer to, but I really appreciated its subtlety and lack of awkward explanation. In any case it will not detract from the experience.
But I do now have more to ponder upon than any other movie I can recall. I'd like to know what others thought of it.

I'm very interested in seeing it but I fear the local cinema's too small/perceived lack of interest.
