This 1948 movie is a ripped from the headlines movie. The Russians have closed the onlyroad to Berlin. The U.S. is deperate to rebuild Berlin, so the new service-The Air Force takes on the job. One of the subplots involves a U.S. sergeant. He had been a AAF sergeant in the war, but is now an Air Force sergent. During the war, he had beeen a POW in a German camp. In Berlin, he spots a guard from the camp who used to beat him regularly. He tracks the German to his home and beats the daylights out of him. Called in front of his Captain, he explains why he did what he did. The Captain gives h gives him his "one and only passs" on what he did.

What I love about this movie is it shows how many of the mechanics and flight engineers joked and such with their crews
