I'm looking for leads on some skyraider parts?

Wish list is as follows:

D-Mil'ed 20mm Cannons (correct for late model AD), I don't think all 4 are needed.
Racks for the various stations and other associated components.
Center line fuel tank.

Any leads will be passed on to a owner in hopes that he can track them down and make good use of them. Thanks PM will contact info would be great. Feel free to PM with any questions.

I would love to see WIX get a bit of credit for helping outfitting an aircraft.

Tim

Hi Tim,
We purchased the pylons for our Skyraider from United Aeronautical Corporation in Ca about 2 years ago. They may still have some. As far as the centerline pylon, we used one from the centerline off of an A4 and slightly modified the forward and aft fairings. We can make the adapters to bolt it to the Skyraider. We also used a 300 gallon drop tank from an A4 for our centerline tank. These should be able to be located. I believe Christophe from France did this to his Skyraider.

Hope this helps,

Hi Tim,
I forgot to mention if the owner can't find 20 MM cannons, my company, Vintage Airworks can make replicas. Just another option.
Thanks
David

Hello,

I have 6 racks that I removed from my Skyraider if it may interest you.

I have also the loading systems of guns that have been removed.

If you are interested, I can sell or exchange against a rim Skyraider.

You can mail me with the address shown on the Skyraider web site visible below (contact on left side).

For the central pylon, we adapted an A4 pylon with the help of David and we were able to hang on a 300 USG tank. View photos on the site:
