We are in need of a nose wheel and tire for our PB4Y-2 in the Airpark. This is a Static plane and we plan to have the tire foam filled. The tire and wheel on the plane are not correct and we would like find one. If you have one or know of one, please let me know. Thanks JOE

I can help.

I'd sent two of them your way a couple of years ago with the cache of B-24 and -4Y parts here in AZ. You might check with Lou to see what became of the stored inventory, but you should see at least two 36 SC nosewheel tire and rim combos back there somewhere. I'd sent both an original 36" SC with diamond tread on wheel and a postwar A-26 Invader nosewheel set.

If you aren't successful in finding the stock, I can help. I have several sets still available here and I'm changing out the post WWII nosewheel on our -4Y, BuNo. 66302, and would be happy to send you another.
