Warbird Information Exchange

I wanted to let everyone here know I am clearing out some of the things I have collected over the years. I just want to collect MacDill and Drew field Florida items. I am placing up for auction the Nose art cut from a CG-4A WW2 glider. This piece is painted on fabric and is about 3 foot in diameter. Its in amazingly good condition, no tears or staining or anything. It is from the I TROOP CARRIER COMMAND. The artwork is blue and yellow, the aircraft cloth is dark green. I emailed an ex CG$ glider pilot and he verified exactly what it is. I will try to post a picture here. I wish I was in the financial position to donate it to a musuum, but I am just not able to. Well, I guess I just dont know how to include a picture....
