I don't have access to a book anymore, but do know that Briggs made many of the vertical fins.

14-2199-163 is a fwd left-hand bomb bay door assy, how much of it do you have? And is it for sale or trade??

Edward and Trevor, Thank you for the ID on this part. We have 6 1/2 feet of the front section of the door. The remaining portion was sheared off in the accident. This section is has minor damage. The construction of this door with the small ribs inside the skin reflect the skills of the aircraft plant workers of that day. Everytime I see aircraft engines and airframe parts from that time period I am proud of the engineers and aircraft workers that mfg the parts and the final assembling. Phillip
