Hello All,

I have for sale one vintage set of WWII Fairchild F-71 Stereoscope Binoculars. They are contract dated for 1942. These are almost in perfect condition and complete, one of the mirrors has some discoloration (can easily be replaced) , and the box has some chipped paint, these still work great. The case of the F-71 measures 19" long x 5-1/2" deep x 7" tall, and when removed and opened up, the stereoscope footprint is approx. 24" x 9". This is the complete set, including the Wooden Box, Manual, Mirror Covers, Binoculars, and the Stereoscope. These were used during WWII by Allied photo interpreters to analyze images shot from aerial photo reconnaissance aircraft. Stereoscope photo interpretation during WW2 included finding the first evidence of the V-1 & V-2 German rockets. All the money raised from this sale will be used to help us restore our North American NA-64 wireless trainer. I would like to get $500.00 for them OBO.

Patrick
