Hello!

A new member here, with a restoration project underway. The Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum is restoring an Piasecki H-21C Shawnee that is on loan from the NMUSAF. When completed, it will be displayed indoors and will need to have the blades folded. By any chance does anyone out there know where I might find the support bracket that bolts onto the fuselage and holds the blades in the folded position? Thanks!

In the mid 80's I was getting into salvage yards around Florida and there was one on the South side of Jacksonville (I think it was on route 1A) that had several Piasecki's and other (Corsair, etc.) Warbird parts. I think it was "Duttons". Maybe someone in the area can let us know if it is still there.

If you find any more Corsair parts please let me know!

Thanks folks! I apprecaite the leads. These pieces are pretty esoteric and I'm guessing not a lot of people kept them. Not as exciting as gun sights or pieces from cockpits, etc. I guess....

If you still need blades, Piasecki Aircraft may still have some. Ask for Fred. www.piasecki.com
