Hello All,

I am restoring some 75 Gallon Drop tanks and I am looking for the brass fittings for the tanks. There are what are called gland nuts that connect the fuel lines and a large drain plug with a filter that screws on the bottom. Any help would be great.

Eric.

Do you know of a pair for sale? We are looking for a pair to hang our mustang, Red Nose.

Thank you

Philip

Does anyone know where I could find dimensions for these tanks (75 gallon)? I'm trying to include them on a technical drawing, but I can't find dimensions anywhere. Not even in a Mustang manual...

Thanks

Doesn't Roush offer new-build, 75-gallon tanks? I think you can get them through Jay Wisler.

I suppose anything by Roush will probably be pricey, but with originals near extinction...

I believe the Roush design copies the Paper type but made from Carbon Fiber. A bit different than the Steel design made as halves with continuous spot weld around the flange.

I think you're right, Rich...brain fart on my end as I had this image stuck in my head (found lying in the Mustang Ranch at OSH 12).

I have a 75 gallon drop that will be available soon. It's aluminum and in real nice condition. Not sure on the price yet
