Still looking for WWII USN ABK-2 (SCR 595) IFF transponder unit for actual Iwo Jima USMC combat L-5 (OY-1). Pilot interview and photos from squadron show it installed. They (ships) were concerned in the A.O. with the Kamikazi threat, so they got installed in these particular grasshoppers, this had not been noted before.
Prefer 12V unit will consider all- ABJ probably works too. Plugs, control head, racks, main unit HELP!!! I have nothing!!
This operated with the 22" (approx) pole antenna. Please feel free to PM me if you have any ideas. I'm finishing it to take the guy who flew it in combat up this next summer!
Thanks so much-
Duncan

Another L-5'er on the board? Never a bad thing. :D
I'll keep an eye out.

I know a guy who has an ABK-5 in the box for sale but last time I checked it was very expensive. Send me an email for more details.
