I have an ST-1450 gunsight reflector head which presumably fitted onto an N3A or N3B gunsight (Currently fitted to an N3C). I have a photo of a P-51C in China or Burma using this sort of sight. If anyone has a P-40 type reflector head or an A-1 reflector head (all fit on the same N3 series sight assemblies) I would be happy to exchange and would pay postage both ways. Attached is a link to various photos etc.

Good day Rob,

FYI, your gunsight head is in fact a B-3 head (part number ST-1450) which was a miniaturized version of the B-1 head (part number ST-1350) fitted to the N-9 gunsight on early P-51Ds.

This gunsight head was used quite extensively as a replacement of the A-1 variable gunsight head.

It was used at least on P-39, P-40 and P-51B&C.

Note: you should upload brighter photos as its very difficult to assess the condition of your sighting head.

Enjoy your day,

Laurent

Thanks for the extra info. I have since rechecked the sight head and amended my original post. Also I have uploaded some clearer images.
