Hello All

In my collection I have a Stromberg injection carburetor P/N PD16B1 for the RR Merlin as used in
V-1650-1 Curtiss P-40F, L
Merlin 28, V-1650-1 Lancaster III, X
Merlin 24, 28, 29, 31, 33, 38 Hurricane, Mosquito, Lancaster, Lancasterian
Merlin 224, 225 Lancaster III, X, Mosquito

It is great condition with no damage but would I assume require o/haul as it has been stored for many years
Can anyone advise me as to its approx value ?
I am considering letting it go to a museum for either a trade item or tax receipt

Thanks in advance

Cam it would depend on internal condition as well. Alot of money ties up in new seals and diaphrams some of which alone can be around $200. The usually run anywhere from 500 up to 1500 or so..
The windsor boys would probably love to take it off your hands for the lanc ;)

Thanks for the feedback Peter , thats pretty much what I felt it was worth
The TASM offered me a $1000 tax receipt but the carb now belongs to CWH
They happened to need one at the moment. :)
