no offense intended, but why would anyone want a repro data plate?? i'll admit they are done 1st class but I fail to see the appeal of buying 1. how much are they any way?? |

matt, I appreciate your pm & want to state I stand corrected & apologize. you may want to explain your motive in repro'ing the data plates & the others you have slated on deck in the near future to the rest of the wix gang!! I certainly misunderstood!! |

If you ever get around to making acid-etched NAA Inglewood dataplates, count me in for a few! There'd be a decent market for them, including all the trainers from the BT-9 to the early AT-6's and Harvard Mk II's (later ones were built in Dallas..hence the 'Texan') as well as Mustangs (P-51A, B, some D's and H) and Mitchells (B-25, A, B, C, G & H) ![]() The silk-screened examples currently available through Lance Aircraft, etc,don't look right to me...the font is too 'modern' ![]() |
