I have a set of NEW Re-Capped by Wilkerson over 27 inch 10 Ply Diamond Plate Aero Classic Tires for sale.
These fit Stearman or BT-13 and I am sure other aircraft.
Located in NW suburb of Chicago.
These Retail for over $600.00 each on some web sites, I would like to get $475.00 each
Local pick up preferred, but shipping can be arranged.

Hi All
I checked with Wilkerson Tires (they did the retreading). Seems the 27" diamond tread is quite hard to come by, they have no stock for quite a while.
I want these tires to go to good use on a plane instead of sitting in the hangar.
Is there anyone out there that want these? I got $365.00 each into them and will sell for my cost.

How old are they?

Not sure the exact age. The owner of the SNJ figures they can't be more then 5-7 years old. Always kept in climate control storage.
