Howdy All

Trying to find a NOS or good condition Curtiss Electric Prop Switch Guard (Single Prop)
P/N # 108770

Single Prop Guard had word 'PROP' engraved on plastic guard while a Twin Prop had 2 Guards ( one had 'LEFT' engraved and the other 'RIGHT' )

Any leads would be much appreciated

Howdy Lightning, how's it going? Have you tried Jay Wisler @ Warbird Parts down in Florida? Or try Brent VanDervort from Pursuit Aviation in North Carolina 704-545-0369. I met him at the AVG Tribute at Peachtree/Dekalb. He owns a hot rod fabrication shop as well as a machime shop and he is currently rebuilding a P-40 "N", he had some original parts i needed. He did say he had a surplus of parts, and if not mistaken he got most of parts/pieces from a collection that was offered for sale in Alaska after a well known individual passed. I have a NOS unit but its not for sale as I'm more than likely going to need it for an "N"! I'll make some calls and see if I can locate one. When I found mine 2 years ago they were still some around. Hopefully one can be located for you. Hopefully this has been of help.
