BC-434A Control Box Project

I recently picked up a 'modified' WWII-vintage BC-434A Remote Control Box for the SCR-269G Radio Compass System, with the intent of restoring it to original condition. But its clear that it will require more time and energy that I'm able to invest. It appears to have been modified for a ham radio installation or similar application.
I'm willing to donate it to a 501c3 project (if you cover shipping) or to sell it to a private enthusiast looking for a small project. Just PM me.
It's listed here, with many more photos:

Thanks! That one on ebay is now officially off the market.
So I'm happy to reiterate that the project posted here is definitely available to anyone interested!

Glad you snapped it up. I had a token bid on it to keep it from disappearing, as I wasn't sure you had seen it yet.
Now, if I could find some MC-215 drive cables....

Have you tried Jay Wisler? I know he's helped other WIXers with those cables.

One of these days, Dean, things will work out and I'll be able to call him. I'm almost never where I can call during business hours. Just wish he would answer his emails. If he doesn't want them, why would he publish the address on his web page...
Same thing with Dave S. on the cables and plugs. I'm hoping to see him at Cowtown next weekend.

Update:
This control box has been acquired by a creative craftsman who converts interesting items into very unique, industrial-looking lamps.
I'm looking forward to seeing what he does with this.....
