Lycoming R680-17 found in barn after hurricane Harvry, need

I need help determining the condition and value of a Lycoming R 680-17 engine that is sitting in what is left of my parents barn. It has been stored in the back for about 40 years and was fairly protected until Hurricane Harvey hit. Most of the barn was destroyed except for the part the engine was in.
The engine is located in Woodsboro, Texas. My dad was a Glider Pilot with 1st air Commando Group, Burma Invasion Force and has passed away so he cannot tell me anything about it. My mother says a friend or his who has also passed, dropped it off and never came back for it. I have contacted his son and he said get rid of it.
So, can anyone suggest a knowledgeable person in this area or direct me? The barn is not in good condition and I am worried that the weather will ruin it. I can text pictures. Also, it is on a stand and when we moved it under cover I noticed that one of the hoses was so dry rotted that it broke and oil came out. Thank you for your help.
