I'm definately no naval historian but if memory serves me correct their was only one Iowa class battleship that was taken out of mouthballs to fight in the Vietnam conflict....and that was the USS New Jersey. The other Iowa class battleships (Wisconsin, Missouri, and Iowa) weren't brought back into service until the 1980'S under Reagon's defense revitalization. Anyone out there...please correct me if I'm wrong on this. :roll:

According to the ever-factual wikipedia, The New Jersey was in California around the June-September 1968 time period. Case (probably) closed!
